San Diego – what’s not to like…

This week, I traveled down to San Diego again. This time for the ASU GSV conference.

Check out this 30-sec video of the Coronado Bridge, the water, and 2 men fishing.

I took the ferry back-and-forth to the conference site at the convention center.

At the conference, I joined ASU President Michael Crow & Silicon Valley Community Foundation President Nicole Taylor for a Sunstage X Coffee session to discuss the revolution in education & learning technology for California learners.

April 6: First six months of Vision 2030

Check out this photo collage (less than 5-min) video of the first 6 months of Vision 2030:

*****

This week started with a Monday holiday honoring Cesar Chavez. After that, it was another busy week of travel!

Wishing Star

The interrupted Sun by an eclipsing Moon,
Turned the day into the night too soon.
Earth shaken and adrift to an eerie silence,
Birds, beasts, and life in transitory trance.

In the fleeting night, luminesced a falling star,
Evading its anonymity in the newfound dark,
Evanescing, an electric make-wish streak,
A moment’s magic for the hopefuls to seek.

Among whispers of nocturnal breaths, it darted,
Through the fabric of time, the sky it parted.
A fleeting beacon for dreams unspoken,
In its glow, heartful vows were woven.

As the celestial dance overshadowed the light,
Below, mortals watched, faces upturned and bright.
For in that instant of cosmic serenade,
The division ‘twixt day and night seemed to fade

Beneath the heavens’ grand, shifting scene,
Life, fragile, marvels at what could have been.
For in the heart of a wishing star’s ephemeral flight,
Resides the power of hope, burning ever so bright.

Hope you enjoyed the Eclipse(and reaffirmed the Theory of Relativity).
